Exercise bikes are all the rage right now, and the plethora of benefits they can offer regarding your physical and mental health certainly help explain why. Plus, these fitness machines are easily adaptable to a home gym, with the ability to be able to be rolled away when not in use.
According to current exercise guidelines, healthy adults should aim for 150 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise each week or 75 minutes of vigorous exercise. Regardless of your exercise goals with cardiovascular conditioning, an exercise bike can get you on the right track toward attaining those goals!
The choices can be overwhelming with so many brands on the market for exercise bikes. So how can you ensure which brands give you the quality you’re paying for? Thankfully, we’ve done the work for you, specifically with ProForm bikes.
Noted as one of the top fitness equipment brands, ProForm currently has ten exercise bikes available for purchase. Studio Series
The bikes in this series include the Pro 22, the Carbon CX, and the Studio Bike Pro. Depending upon the bike, you can view your workouts on a smart high-definition touchscreen (the Carbon CX has an LCD window display) and adjust the resistance levels anywhere from 16-24. Prices in this series range from $599 to $1403 and include memberships to the iFit community.
All bikes in this series have ergonomic padded seats, adjustable handlebars, and interia-enhanced flywheels. If you’re looking for additional work for the upper body, all studio bikes come with dual 3-pound dumbbells. The studio bikes can be moved around easily with adjustable leveling feet and front-mounted transport wheels. Each cycle has a 250-pound weight limit, perfect for everyone in your family!

The C10R is a recumbent style bike, while the C10U is an upright version. Both machines have 25 levels of resistance with SMR (Silent Magnetic Resistance) and inertia-enhanced flywheels. The pedals are ergonomic with adjustable straps, and the front-mounted transport wheels are easy to move around. The C10U has a weight capacity of 275 pounds, while the C10R has a capacity of 300 pounds.
Hybrid Series
The Hybrid Trainer XT is $649 and is the only hybrid currently available. ProForm has found the sweet spot with a combination of an elliptical and a bike, giving you the option to sit when needed or stand. A 30-day iFit membership is included with purchase and can be viewed on an iPhone or tablet and placed on the large device shelf. There is a 5” high contrast display as well, allowing you to adjust the 16 levels of resistance as needed.
The seat is cushioned and adjustable, as are the pedals. The elliptical setting allows a stride up to 15”, while the inertia-enhanced flywheel makes it a seamless experience. Front-mounted transport wheels make it easy to roll away when not needed, and the 250-pound weight capacity can conform to just about anyone looking for a multi-faceted workout!
Closeout
The bikes in this sale section include the 500 SPX, Studio Bike Limited, Studio Bike Limited (Black Edition), and the TDF CSC. The closeout bikes range from $499 to $1,099 and include 30 days of iFit.
